Our Wheels
Wow. Where is that car located? Hopefully not in my region....
Takes some ***** to lift the wheels off a Porsche in a public garage, so someone had the right tools! Note that the wheels on this particular car are not center-locks, so they must not have had a security bolt installed -- first mistake.
Also I see a lot of wet on the ground just behind the car-- did they damage the oil pan as it dropped to the ground, or lift something else from the engine bay?
To answer your question, I don't believe the wheels have S/N assigned to any particular car or registration. I'll look again when I have mine off, but I think there is only a part number and manufacturer stamps on the reverse side.

Wow sorry to see this. I would never think a Porsche buyer would buy hot wheels. What goes around comes around.
FYI
It's very easy to get lock bolts off a car. Less than 30 seconds. Freon a chisel and a hammer.

No serial numbers that I'm aware of. Want to protect the wheels from theft? Buy crappy wheels that no one wants.
Otherwise, really, either move somewhere where it's not so dangerous, or just make sure that your insurance is paid-up.
I hate those locking lug nuts and prefer not to obsess and worry over things like that. It's just a car, and everything can be replaced.
It was nice of the thieves to carry along blocks to avoid damaging the brakes though, don't you think? Although they probably dented the sills...

Not my car, but this case scared me
I have the center lock T2 wheels, so maybe a little bit more safe.
Its sad to see that..... and wondered why they did not take the brakes too.

Wheel locks keep the thugs from getting your wheels ,but the pros can get around wheel locks pretty easily. No sense loosing sleep over it. Why not have a rider added to your insurance for your wheels if your that worried about.
Agh , we see this all to much in Miami its crazy . Oem wheel locks are a joke to take off not even an extra min per. Best results we seen with wheel locks is brand called rimlox as they make a new key per order and serialized. best of luck .

So sad.
If they are stock wheels, insurance will cover it. If they are aftermarket, make sure to check your policy as most policies are limited when it comes to non-oem, hence our recommendation to buy policies that have modifications coverage.
If there's anything we can help with as far as insurance is concerned, please don't hesitate to reach out. Best of luck!

Not all insurers offer wheel riders. Even if they do, its very important to read the declarations for the coverage offered. Many are very, very limited in replacement.
