All,

Wanted to bid the Porsche community a farewell. Sold my 911 today and picked up a R8 V10.

Hate to see your 911 go, but that's a gorgeous replacement (and one of my favorite cars). Congrats

Tell us your comparison in a few months. When I went to Rusnak, the 2 salesmen weren't as excited as much when we compared it to the 997.

Beautiful car. Congrats!

Just wait until you try to fit the golf clubs and suitcases.

How do you compare them in terms of daily driving comfort and technology? Any preference when you're standing in front of both in the morning?

I considered the R8 (V8) before buying the 911. I too would be interested to hear how you like it after a few months of ownership. Hopefully the OP has subscribed to his own thread and will update us.

Like the OP, I have recently sold the 911 and moved on (to a BMW Z4 in my case).

Do you find the 911 to be well suited for golf clubs and suitcases?

That is a beautiful vehicle. Very interested in what you think. I have been considering one for a while. Good luck, drive safe.
