This was the biggest joke of the new 991 release in 2012......Porsche-aHa radio app. The same set of idiots who fudged the emissions data at VW must of recommended the aHa app to Porsche.

I loaded up aha on the HTC M9 tonight and it linked right up with my 2013 C4S via bluetooth. Looks like a cool app but needs some fidgeting to get it to do what you want it to do.

I had the Aha app installed briefly, never used it much but I did notice it absolutely killed my phone battery on long drives. Have since uninstalled and never looked back.

Aha app enables search via Google when connected via cable. Have you guys tried that? I think it's useful feature ...

Maybe they have improved it, but I loaded it on my phone shortly after getting my 991. And as quickly as I loaded I removed it.

I tried it once to see what it did and found it utterly useless. For the most part it just reminded me of crapware you get on a new PC.

I think the general consensus for things like streaming audio you were better off simply running pandora or spotify or some other service and using the phone as an aux / Bt source.

The only possible benefit I could see was that there was a level of integration that allowed you to control things from the PCM display. But my recollection wasn't all that compelling. Any features were just as easily accomplished on your smart phone.

Yes, that was roughly my assessment. I suppose it might be worth trying since I last used it a couple of years ago.. but nah... not worth it..

I would be interested in before and after data with the mesh. Depending on the size of the holes in the mesh and the boundary layer clinging to the mesh it might have some adverse affects on the air into the intakes.
