DropGems is infamous around these parts
991s 40k maintenance (nyc)
Been getting insane quotes from dealerships in nyc (2 to 3k!!!). Anyone have any nyc Indy shop recommendation who can do this very affordably? Thx!

Find a good DIY'er. The 40K service is straight forward and you can get all the needed items for less then $400. I did mine in about 6 hours from start to finish with some rest time in between.

It was a very enjoyable Friday evening/Saturday morning if you're into that stuff.

Yea the prices I got quoted were ridiculous! Anyone here have any shop recommendations in the NYC/NJ area? Thx!
