911 george is infamous around these parts
I have a ‘13 Cab, same problem, it separates/rises where it meets the window-take your door panel off yourself, u-tube video available, with plastic removal tools available at any auto parts store for $5, and take it to your local auto seat upholstery shop(one that does quality work on hot rods) they will re-glue for a $100-150. Problem solved. As the video shows do not worry about airbags.
Easy fix to an aggravating problem

See my reply, easy fix, take the door panel off yourself, take to a local hot rod upholstery shop, they will re-glue with proper glue for approx $150 a door. All info on utube

I have a’13 911, mine did the same thing, I removed the door panel myself didn’t want to leave car at the upholstery shop for a week, u need to find a shop that does hot rods as a lot will not do this, check post on how to remove the panel, pretty easy, they just reglue with correct glue, cost $200 vs a new door panel.

google pedrosgarage.com I had Pedro do both of my panels and I couldn’t be more pleased. Since I was going to Tampa I removed the panels using Pedro’s instructions on his website, and dropped them off with him. He fixed them and I picked them up the next day. He was kind enough to walk me through his process and he’s got a super well thought out process. I highly recommend using him if you’re no longer on warranty. New panels are $1750 each and he can fix yours for $250-350 each. Pedro does several panels each day as people send them to him from around the country. Pedro is also a Tech Advisor for PCA.

Door interior separating

Take it to an upholstery shop, one that does hot rods & custom work. I removed mine per the instruction video(easy peasy), dropped it off & they reglued it , for $200, a nice fix.
Agree Porsche should not let this happen but stuff like this does. Get it fixed & move on
