HRE p101
Hi Everyone. I just got the GR 911 (991.2)that I've been waiting forsince I was 16 (41 years) and its amazing. I am going to order a set of 20" HRE P101 but can't decide between matte and glossy. Any thoughts here?
If you'd like I can help! What color is your new 991? Which finish are you looking at that you're still tossing up the idea of matte or glossy? I may have a car in my photo gallery that might match up.

I did however want to post up a couple close up photos of Gloss Black and Satin Black P101's just in case this helps any:
Gloss Black P101:
Satin Black P101:
Depending on whom you ask what color to choose from (Gloss or Satin Black), you'll likely get a different answer. One finish isn't better than the other, it's just a matter of preference. I would first look to see if the vehicle itself had any black accents. If yes, are those black accents gloss or satin? Usually I'll try to match it up so that it's all one cohesive package, so if it's a gloss black trim, I'll go with Gloss Black wheels with it.

I've been looking at p101s as well but if I was going to order I'd go with the R101 LW. Same wheel just light weight.

I thought about that too. Very slight difference. Checked this am and window trim is Matte black. Ive only been able to put 150 kms on it .......snow and ice......

20x9 - 21.40lbs
20x11.5 - 22.40lbs
Front weight difference: 4.9lbs per wheel
Rear weight difference: 3.0lbs per wheel
R101LW for 991 Narrow Body:
20x9 - 16.50lbs
