Dust Inside My Driving Lights

My 2014 TTS warranty is about expire.
I have noticed there is a lot of dust on the inside of my driving lights.
Do you think this is normal or do you think this should be covered under Warranty??
Thanks,
Gregg

combatninja is infamous around these parts
I don't really know what I am looking at in that picture. It looks more like road rash from little rocks and grit to me.

Either way, if I was a Porsche service writer and you came to me complaining about some superficial dust inside your 4 year-old lights which does not hinder their functionality at all, I would probably be polite but decline to fix it.

Not road rash.
The exterior of the lights are like brand new.
The dust is on the inside of the plastic housing.
Seems like the lights should be sealed better than this!

I would claim through warranty as this is not normal. If you have to escalate to fight it, I would. Not only because of the esthetic issue, but because it could get worse and make it necessary to replace/effect resale value.

Keep us posted -

If it is on the inside, submit the warranty claim. They should not have dust getting inside. It will only get worse with time.
