There once was a time that I came here often . Of course my 911 Turbo at the time was new and I still have the car !!! I also have 17 991.2 GTS and i posted all this awhile back .

Since i had not been here much I recognize a few members but i also notice its more quiet in terms of post volume. In the meantime I do post a very nice forum comprised of Macan owners . Many of them either had interst in or even decided to buy a 911 .

We requested a 911 sub forum but it may not work out so I figured I'd write this post and invite those who have a 991 or are interested in a 991 to come here .

I have been on 6speed for 10 years . Even though i am not here all the time I do always think of this place and maybe some new chatter about these cars can be fun.

Thanks to your PMs. It took me a while but I ordered mine in Dec 2014 and got it in April 2015.

Before the GTS, I was on here every few days if not daily. After the purchase, I come here maybe monthly to see if there is anything major. Since I don't mod my car, there is less drive to read the posts.

 

Hey Larry, I am still here... good to see you here again...I am also over on the other Porsche site a little more and still doing track events. I too have a 2017 GTS...

 

I also haven't modified the newer cars . They come so nice right out the box in stock form .

Glad you are still here . It's so quiet here compared to years ago . I have no idea why . I always enjoyed the chatter . When I had my 981 Boxster I expected that section to be quiet but this 991 section used to always have a flow .

 

Hi Mike - Good to see you !! I did see a few posts of yours over there . I joined but I find it an odd mix . Now its true that I only posted in one section and there are some great posts but also there is also a lot of silliness .

I have been posting mostly in the Macan forum . I don;t know if you have ever driven one but it's an amazing SUV . I am on my third and love the car. It's wife's daily driver but we use it for all the rational chores too and it is impressive to drive .

Glad you are doing well and still doing what you love to do at the track . I'll stick around !!
