Softronic Performance Software - 991

So these guys advertise 400 to 430hp with there $1200 tune.

This sounds totally unrealistic?

if you spend $18k and dod a Porsche X51 power kit upgrade it will increase power to 430hp.

Does any one have any experience of the Softronic Performance Software - 991?

I assume you are talking about a NA software upgrade. I had the Cobb tune on my previous 4S. There was noticeable gain in throttle response and the feeling that power came on earlier in the Power band. Car felt more responsive which sometimes feels quicker. Really hard to get power upgrade on a NA car with an ECU tune. It did make the car livelier. And I think I paid about the same and had a Kline exhaust when I did the tune.
Have the Cobb on my TTS and the difference is quite noticeable. Turbo cars react more to tuning of ECU.

Don't know the Softronic, can only speak for the Cobb above for NA. Doubt they will give more performance than Cobb.

I wouldn’t waste my money on a tune for naturally aspirated car. I tried it once and it made no difference at all that I could tell. Just my Opinion.
