Hi all
new to this forum and 1st post
I have a 99 911 C4 (996)
I took it out the other day drove it normal from cold and notice after a couple of miles Smoke from my rear mirror.
I pulled over and it was bellowing out from both tail pipes on tick over .turned it off and towed it home.
I few times before it I could hear a squealing noise as if it was a loose belt but no belt was slack .
the smoke is white and stays in the air .

could do with some advise please (and reasurance)
hoping it's not terminal
