WTB: Wheels and Tires

I am looking for some new shoes for my 1998 C2S. Currently she is running on 8x18, 52 offset, 225/40/18 front and 10x18, 40 offset, 285/30/18 rear..technology hollow spokes. Anybody running 315/25/19 rear and 245/35/19 fronts?? I am looking for a black 4 or 5 spoke rim with a polished lip or a techart black rim. My car is Zenith Blue..would love to see if anyone has a black rim on a zenith blue (cobalt) widebody!! Any suggestions on where to purchase? Or know of anyone selling let me know!! Thanks, (I am in Chicago)!! GO BEARS!!

The Techarts are going to be considerably heavyer than your hollow spokes.

245 and 315 might be too wide for your ride. Why do you need so much contact patch? try 235 and 295 MAYBE you can squeeeeeeeeze a 305?

Depending on the offsets of the rear they should work.

Front offset is 50mm Rear offset is 42mm....They will come with 15mm spacers for the year...but I do not think I would need them.

I haven't heard of anyone using 315/25/19 on a WB 993. I have 295/30/19 on my WB cab and rub in the rear. My car is lowered with just springs, not coilovers. I have heard that 305/25/19 will not rub since the overall diameter is shorter than the 295/30/19. I think 315/25/19 will be taller than what I have now.

315 rears and 265 fronts are the largest tires I've seen used on a 993. They will require north of -2 degrees of camber.

I'm running 295s and 235s on the street and I'm looking for 305s/255s for track.
