Alignment?
Alignment?
I had Mmtem Porsche do an alignment on Friday. The mechanic that helped (Pablo) said there was nothing I could do about the camber because of the lowering springs I have. I am interested in upgrading some of the components to allow for full adjustablity. It seems this will help with tire wear too. Any suggestions?
Also, this is the third alignment I have had and the car still pulls to the right slightly under normal driving conditions and braking. Pablo and Ricky at Mmtem suggested it may be tire pull. Any suggestions?

A few months ago mine started pulling to the right under normal driving. Took it in for alignment and they had to swap the tires left to right to stop the pull. They tried adjusting it three times and after a ride check finally swapped left and right sides. It then pulled slightly left and they readjusted. It is fine now but the wrench suggested new tires.

could you elaborate on what you mean when you say there is nothing you can do because of the springs.
to gain more camber adjusment+/- you can get 2 piece lower control arms which use shims to achieve the desired camber #'s i believe they are a GT3 item.

^^^Yes. They have about 2000 miles on them. Not really sure if that means new anymore!?!?
I've heard they are going to last all of 5000 miles.

Hey Ryan, The good thing about taking your car to Sam at Protecnic is he usually has performance parts if needed.I will be taking my car to him tomorrow for corner balancing & alignment. I will let you know my opinion.
TX, call TRG, 707-935-3999 ( i think i remember seeing some on the shelf) and ask for Austin.
I am trying to figure out how to send you the pages from the manual without sending the whole manual.

Thanks for the help ya'll.
Paulie, I talked to Sam for about thirty minutes today. He sounds like he really enjoys his work. I am intersted in what you find out, especially about your camber settings front and back. Being that your car is lowered about like mine, the settings should be similiar.
Derek, just got the email, and i thank you for your help, greatly.
Good weekend everyone.
