Greddy boost setting help

Okay Suman has been helping me figure this out wanted to get some more thoughts.

Here are the options GAIN is used to adjust the boost consistency. It says when boost spike occurs lower the GAIN when boost falls off at high rpm or boost increases as rpm increased raise GAIN

START BOOST

used to adjust boost response set closer to the set boost the spool up will be faster if it is too close to the set boost it will cause the boost to spike.

Right now on high boost I am 1.5 bar set boost and my start boost is at 1.1 Not sure about my GAIN but I think that is set at 10%?

Any help is appreciated

buddy I thoght you said your gain was at 98 percent. On my boost ocntroller the start boost is the same for high and low boost settings. So I set mine at 1.2 bar and low boost settign was at a low gain percentage. and the high boost setting is at a high boost percentage. You told me your boost percentage for high gain was 98 percent which is all most all the way up. Mine was set at 74 percent and my low setting was at 21. I think you will need to up the start boost and lower both hi and low boost gain. PS. what percentage is the low boost gain on. Mine was 21 percent Im assuming yours is higher for your lower boost setting?!

for beginners leave the gain at 10%.
set gain should be .3 bars less then waht ur max boost is... so if ur maxing at 1.5 bars put the set gain to 1.2 bars. now all this is relative and it still may work better at 1 bars or 1.1 bars as far as set gain.

later u can start messing with gain and bump it up 28%... one value at a time so u see the changes ...

The Greddy is a little different we have GAIN which should be between 15 and 30 % and helps with boost response.

START is between 1.1 to 1.3

Set boost is the amount for setting your boost pressure from like 68 to 78 percent.

Buddy should have a diode in his ecu. THis tricks to ecu so I've been told in order to run crazy boost. my Factory Boost gauge never shows above 1.0 bar. Pretty nifty I must say.

chec out the hose where the EBC attaches near the diverter valves. also check your Y pipe hoses.

KINGS POWER is infamous around these partsKINGS POWER is infamous around these parts
I have to agree with markski, and if you experienced a higher boost last night vs today, this could have been caused by air temp and density.

Buddy,
what is it running when u turn the EBC OFF? if u have 1 bars springs it sould do 1 bar etc.
Anytime you get into doing lines and turbos... you need to boost pressure the car.
How is ur friends car running.. is he down on boost.... if so then its atmospheric. if not then its ur car.

Weird thing I leave work tonight and hit 1.54 bar seeing 1.47 sustained. Do that like once or twice don't change a thing and the next 3 times it would not boost over 1.39?

Hey Buddy, did you ever fix that bad intercooler end tank that blew out at the track?........it could be leaking a little.

Joe I guess that could be a problem but we think it could also be a sticking diverter valve.

I thought the purpose of the Diode was to prevent the DME from seeing the boost; hence, allowing higher boost? However, if this is used it also limits the function of the DME which could lead to a perilous situation?
