Modded 996 tt...ok for DD?
I'm looking to purchase a 996 tt shortly after my sti sells. I was wonder if you think a 700hp beast would be acceptable for a DD or should i get something else like an E55 amg, E63 amg, C63 amg, 997 Carrera S...i'm stuck, and unfortunately i'm 22 years old and i go to the dealership and almost get laughed at and told that "these cars are expensive, why not a c350 or a Cayman S" wtf i don't want one of those. I think even with $20k in cash for a downpayment, i will still have a hard time getting a test drive. Will you give me reasons why you would choose the car you picked for my DD. Thanks for all the help.

You can pick up a used TT for $55-60K drive the crap out of it and still get $45K for it in three years. The MB isn't going to do that.

I had a CLS55 for 5 months... dumped it for an X50 ... then had Kevin from UMW do a Stage II Zero Clearance ... and YES, I do drive it daily ....

I drive mine everyday but its only Stage 2.
Something to remember getting 600-700hp is going to cost some $$$. Porsche's aren't cheap.. I learned this quickly

You must put your foot in it every chance you get.I'm at 17+mpg, but that is mostly rush hour traffic with occasional bursts
lol...my actual mpg readout is 13.7
Sadly I'm still on Stock K16's for now. If it does make a difference though I forsee a 55gal Drum of VP104 in the garage LOL!
