Samco Boost Hoses - Good or No Good ?

Hi,

I came across these over ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...spagenameZWDVW

And was wondering if that would solver my popping hose problem ? Are they good product, anyone ever used them before ?

Thanks
Bo

I have the Samco ones on my 996tt which is pushing 1.1bar of pressure and the alloy ends to the Samco hoses are much better and the clip fits much better than the standard porsche ones.

01 TT hoses were terrible but Porsche did redo them for 02 and beyond and they should be OK for most mild upgrades. the oring design was changed too

Bought the same Samco Hoses in Black from this ebay seller, very good ebayer and the product is superb.

Had them on my car for a couple of months now, the car regularly see's 1.1 Bar and feels much stronger since they have been fitted. Highly recommended and they look great compared to OEM.

I reused my old stock 2001 clips and they worked fine. I think it has more to do with the metal ring around the stock hose, than the clip failing. I've been very happy with the performance of my car since installing the hoses, and had no issues with codes or pressure drop.

I have a set of agency power ones and the best thing about em is the "LOOK", I ended up tearing one up...dont ask.... but I put my original one back in and seen no problems.... The only, and only time any hose ( stock vs these) gave me a problem is on the bottom hose by rear tire, there isnt a metal clip... only a clamp you tighten with a screw driver and for fear of over tight'n I poped it off 2 times until I lost my fear and clamped that sucker on there good!! and thats the stocker one... SO..IMHO I dont think they really do much if anything on mild upgrades... (where Im @).... if you go with sick upgrades like Markski or Joetwint or soem others here... yeah you may want soem other set up...... comes down to if you like the looks more than anytning at this stage.....but then again what do I know...... lol

They look like quality pieces, I googled the name and came up with a bunch of sellers and the manufacture, but none say they make them for a 996TT. What gives, are these R&D units? Or did they discontinue...
