2005 911 Turbo video....

if its a repost, I didn't see it anywhere......

link at Autospies - click on the link that says 'Click here to read the full article and see the video' within the Autospies page to get to the video...

It shows the new car testing at Weissach - it has camouflaging but you can kinda see some new angles and apparently the new car has round headlights (??) I couldn't really see that in the video....

Boy, two years later, all porsche can do is modify the ecu for 30 more HP? whoopteedo. That will fall short of all the competition coming out including the new C6, VIPER GTS, 612HP SL65, 700HP V10 Supra, 800 HP V10 Twin Turbo Suprabased Lexus supercar, and others. They really need to step up to the plate with a V8 twin turbo with great potential. Perhaps this spy stuff is just bs, I hope.....

You know what this is starting to remind me of??? Remember the ZX series from Nissan. They kept getting more expense and heavier. Eventually pulled the plug...

The Gallardo will wipe the TT's ***, even the new TT. It is rumoured to run 122+ traps, stock. The only chance is the 2004 GT2 - it may come close to it. But all the others, forget about it. I don't know why they are comparing the two in the 1st place. The TT can "challenge" the Stradale though, no pun intended. I would never threaten to run a Gallardo, unless I wanted my *** wiped badly.

Some tests have shown that X50 cars can get away from Murcielagos. A comparison of the best times that I've seen recorded for the X50 996TT and the Murc are pretty close. I wonder why Lamborghini would let the Gallardo surpass the performance of their flagship? I wouldn't put too much stock in those whispers until they're verified by a major auto mag. I'd bet the Gallardo traps 118 max so as not to upset the pecking order.

maybe it wont beeat the Murciegalo at top speed but I think it'll go faster than 118. I think 121 or so.

but a tuned TT will kill them all ^___^

i don't think there is a car on the market that can surpass the Evo Stage 4GT... (well...if considering the same price range and luxury, and excluding 700HP+ Ricers that only last for 10-20K miles)

You may be right as the numbers seem to support the car having equal performance with its big brother. But I just can't imagine them thinking they'd not canibalize Murc. sales. Also, they were looking to beat the 360 which only traps around 113 and the 996TT which traps around 116. I'm sticking with my 118 trap guess. We'll see which guess is closest when the official mag tests start coming out (very soon).
