your advice on a LWFW
Elliot, My setup is essentially what Kevin at UMW sells. It's the Clutchmasters GT3 SPRUNG clutch disc with kevlar material and the Sachs 999 PP with clutchmasters fulcrum mod. I have ZERO clutch slip, but do deal with some chatter in traffic at times. We're guestimating 530-540HP and well over 550#ft. torque at the wheels with Kevin's Hybrids/software and the same turbos on an Upsolute tune wouldn't slip the stock clutch.
I'd have bought the kit straight from Kevin, had I known what I know now... He doesn't make much off the cost of the parts, and his support has been awesome.

Mike,
Some questions ..
Is 999 PP a Sachs part number?
When you you say chatter do you mean noise from trans or vibration when clutch is engaging? My present Sachs Stage 2 is very streetable and silky smooth but I notice it does grab a little high. I have an RS LWFW .
I also don't want an "On -Off" clutch.
What does yours feel like?
Thanks
Elliot
The Sachs 999 PP is their "motorsport" PP. I don't have the part number but all the vendors are familiar with it.
However, Anyone doing these mods should also seriously consider doing the EVOMs GT2 Hydraulic Clutch Slave/master upgrade as well. I personally don't think the OEM hydraulics can handle the added power and responsiveness of the LWFW package.
Also, forgot to mention that I ran my 100octane race file using this setup as well with zero slip and it's supposed to boost power by another 30+HP and torque...
