http://www.pocketlogger.com/index.php?pid=plobdii

This company makes software and a cable that will allow you to read and clear codes as well as data log to most pieces of equipment (PDA or old cell phone you aren't using) that use the Palm OS. It will display 3 pieces of ecu data in real time and I think it will record up to 12 simultaneously.

I have this one on the way to work with a Treo 650 I no longer use as a cell phone.

Durametric is way better for reading and clearing codes...I had both. Guy on the list has one for sale:

Good to have an opinion from someone who has both. The main attraction for me is to be able to log data to my cell phone and not have to secure a lap top somewhere in the car to data log. Do you think the Pocket Logger will function well in that capacity?

Al, I tried to use the PL and had very little success with my palm. I use durametric for codes and racelogic (performance box) for data logging.

That's disappointing to hear. I have a P box also, but the data I want to log is from the OBD port. Things like left bank/right bank O2 sensor readings and timing, etc.

I also have the Durametric software. I spoke with Duram the guy who designed and wrote the interface code. He is heavily into Pcars and knows most of the tuners.

I have a pocketlogger that I picked up from wross996TT for $100 and have never used.

You're welcome to it if you're interested. It comes with a palm, some cables, and software.
