Is there a way to level the rear spoiler?

I have the Mashaw spoiler. It's not level. Is there a way to adjust the height on just one side, or do I need to use washers behind the mounting plate to tweak the height?

Add a washer

MaShaw installed mine at there shop and it seems fine and level. But def. want to add appropriate washers to level right below the alum. sleeve so it cant be noticed, or above the sleeve where it will be noticed, but very very little. They also told me it normal to have a little play in the spoiler. So far no problems for awesome CF spoiler. Look at my avatar

You might want to contact Mashaw also, could be a defective wing.

We are in the Walnut Creek area, and we rip around the east bay on an almost daily basis. Are you local?

Thanks jojomon. Good tip. I'll try washers. BTW, your car looks great. Love that wing!

exoticalex, I'm in San Ramon. We should hook up some time. I hardly ever drive around for the hell of it, and I've been to very few meets, but I'd love to connect with more people and have more fun with the car. Let me know next time you guys meet up. Nice GT2, btw.

Merry Christmas all!

I tried the washers, but reverted because the spoiler motors didn't like it at all. If anyone else has a clever idea, please let me know. Otherwise, I guess I'll just live with it.

Sorry

Sorry to hear about that. Might want to contact Mashaw about the issue, I am sure they can help you if you ask, even if you didn't buy it directly from them.

When I first put mine on it also was a bit off. I cleaned the cylinders off real good and squirted a bit of WD40 on them and now it goes all the way down on both sides even. It seemed like some dirt or crud was keeping one side from retracting all the way. Mine isnt a Masha wing but is a GT2 style like yours.

Thanks for the tip. Tried some silicon spray. Didn't seem to help. Oh well.

Nice car, btw.
