Removal of GT2 front bumper?

Would appreciate info on steps to remove front bumper or at least gain access to the backside of it. I have some of the repair manuals, if that's the best source. Thanks in advance

Thought I'd save a repost and blast an unansewered thread back from the past.

As above, needing to take my main grille out for a carbon replacement which I am sure requires front bumper removal. Would like to know for sure how it is done before tackling it.

Thanks in advance

Check my DIY below on converting to GT2 front bumper. It'll require you to remove the inner fender liners, the bumper cover and unbolting the upper grill vent.

The link noted by raineycd looks good to me. GT2 very similar. I used some similar instructions and will confirm it is a fairly easy job. Amazing how much road and track debris was in radiators. Good luck.

Thanks guys, I did see that thread but wondered how different it would be to a GT2 bumper.

Will tackle the job this week.

This link still active and is pretty good. Also suggest google porsche bumper removal and find youtube on the subject. Most of the 911 and boxter bumpers come off similarly. Shop manual also good source.

Thanks a million. Heat link and I had found the tube. I have the prototypes of the new rennline screens for the GT2 and wanted to get them on this weekend so I can report back on the fit and any mods necessary.

Once again thanks for taking the time.
