No matter what you bolt on the tranny, it is never going to be a true sequential with benifits. All just a wast of time and money.

For info have decided not to go with this add on, not because the concept is necessarily faulty, but because of the power of the internet and thanks to a few guys that pointed out some other threads about Oakley to me. Thumbs up to you guys and thanks very much....

Funny, first 911 engine I ever saw was on a stand - windowed. When I asked I was told it was used on a Bonneville test car with a prototype electronic shifter... that missed a gear! The guy told me the driver said "the noise just went away" when he hit the upshift! Turbo Perofrmance Center Mike Levitas... - grrrr..... but neat toys to look at anyway!
... not good news and ultimately definitely not going to deal with him in any capacity....

and something here too....

Harold has the right links to get info on situation. PistonHeads has a no naming or shaming policy and removes threads outright if a boundary is crossed.Oakley was a sponsor there so that is why the "veiled" references were made to try and keep thread alive for all to find.
As far as Excellence article goes and the principle behind it-- these days the lifeblood for magazines ( & internet forums!) is advertising support so a lot of what looks like independent verification is no more than spruiking in the form of advertorial in conjuction with paid advertising.
It is where the forums are so much use--it is a lot easier to find these issues and publicise them.
