Good thoughts. While nitrous or CO2 will do an incredible job of cooling, they can only be done in bursts or you will empty the bottle quickly. Water/methanol spraying is not effective if you do not have air going through the IC. So you need a scoop and/or a duct. Make a template out of cardboard. Once you have an acceptable design, use a thin aluminum sheet from the local hardware store and fasten it in place. If it doesn't get destroyed then you can fab a more permanent one from thicker aluminum.

Sounds like i will have a fun project next weekend.

I dont think this will make any noticeable dyno numbers but I will hook up my Gtech for pre and post op runs to see if there is anything noticeable there.

I think it might be easier to swap it for a water intercooler.

turbowerx did the design and install, I have about 235 hp at the wheels.

I have spoken to Marc some more about adding a scoop to my intercooler and he has a test scoop he will send to me shortly and we will see if there is a difference with the scoop.
