Diverter Valve - which is best?

Which diverter valve would you recommend for an 03 TT with no upgrades? I think mine might be leaking a bit as I hear a high pitched air sound coming from the engine bay when getting on the throttle and the whoosh sound when lifting from the excess being blown off.

I use the FVD Billet DV valve , its a great value and No I don't hear them when I let off the fuel...........then again I have strait pipes so I don't hear anything. Why are you replacing them are the stock ones coming apart? If its just to change I would nt bother until you have to, or until you start making more power.

Using Forge with UMW preset tension (shim washers).

As Dixie mentioned, make sure you get the one with 90deg angle.

I've got the EVOMS DV's and they work well. The vacuum line hookup has a 90 degree bend at the top which makes install much easier. You can get them in black or polished. I went with black so they don't stick out so much. When you install them, I would install a new F-hose while you have everything apart.

+1 to all that. The 90 degree connection is a must -- space is tight. Might as well do the silicone F-hose, since it's the same amount of work while you're doing the DVs. I would add that you should convert to the screw type hose clamps to replace the stock ones, to make sure you get a good seal with the new DVs and F-hose.

Call Dan @ Vivid for pricing. No way for it to fit in stock location, so I tore out all of the hoses and the solenoid that were back there and just rigged a single BOV to the outlet on the Y-pipe using a 90deg silicone hose reducer. Works great. Have to reroute some vacuum lines and plug the port on the intake plenum where the f-pipe connected to. Not a big deal.

If you can hear it, it's working. If you're losing boost at WOT, you need to tighten it. If you don't hear it, or are getting boost spikes, you need to loosen the valve. Easy-peasy.
