A VERY custom 996 GT2 "RSR"...
It is a stock interior with a full carbon trim package in matte finish rather than the stock glossy finish. Seats are 997 GT3 RS carbon finish. All gauges are removed and a custom carbon insert is installed in the old location and it will receive a MoTec ADL2 digital dash. We are covering the instrument panel surround in black alcantara with the rest of the dash in smooth black leather. 85% of the roll cage is concealed.
Congrats

More pics...
The amount of engineering work and time and effort that has gone into this car is just amazing. It really inspires me and makes me realise that my little project car really is just that- a little project.
Showing what can be done by guys such as yourself (at the extreme level), and Craig, Markski etc (at the slightly more mortal level) in terms of your personal projects and the dedication to these projects really gives me a rush and gets me more and more interested in bringing my own car to the "next level" albeit a much much lower one.
Thanks very much for sharing!!! I really look forward to seeing your car reach completion!

I believe they are 16 lbs. I will weigh them and let you know.

At the moment it is stripped. We just finished the roll cage which is about 80% concealed. We are now modifying the dash to fit around the cage, installing the wiring harness, and locating the MoTec equipment.
When completed, the interior will be a stock GT2 configuration with new Porsche factory 997 GT3 RS carbon fiber race seats, Shroth harnesses, FULL matte finish carbon trim from MA Carbon, MoTec ADL2 digital dash in lieu of factory intrument cluster, alcantara headliner, alcantara instrument surround with smooth leather dash, Rennline pedals and aluminum race mat, and alcantara seat inserts. Should be a very different interior when complete.
