A VERY custom 996 GT2 "RSR"...
Not until the car is completely finished. I understand it will be ready for me to transport back to Arizona week after next. I will then work with Excellence to see what they would like to do.
that is a very nice build and that is coming from someone who really doesnt care for 996's. i havent read through this thread yet but from the looks, this is definentally a car to be proud of. the funny thing is how the very first post back in 2008 said that you thought that you could finish the car in 3 months, now its 2 years later haha. But the way i see it is that anything worth having is worth sacraficing for
Well...the saga comes to an end. 3 years in the making and she is finally done. Here are the last pics of the "beast" before it comes home to Scottsdale, AZ. We are installing a new shift boot and a little carpeting in the nose next week, but essentially she is complete. Next time you see her, I hope it is in Excellence Magazine or just maybe, Supercars Exposed. We shall see. Thanks to everyone for your support...it has been one wild ride and she runs like a scared rabbit!!!!!!!
Special thanks to Cary Eisenlohr for his incredible inspiration and crazyyyy ideas. You are the best. AND...thanks to Loren Beggs at 911 Design for his persistence and patience with my insane ideas. He really made this thing happen. It has been a long 3 years, but I hope you will agree...the product was worth it.

Wow man that thing is absolutely gorgeous, I have been following this build for pretty much the whole time, glad it came out the way you wanted it to!
Reps to you bro. Let me know if you are ever in the Ohio area!

Congratulations on it's completion. The car's spectacular. Hopefully Excellence does a great write up on it. Once all the magazine and tv/online shows are done with it, I hope you'll put it on the track, like your original intentions. Because that is one car that wont fully be appreciated until it gets to stretch it's legs out and be at home on the road courses! Thanks for sharing the long three months with us.
I have followed your build since the beginning but this is the first time I have posted. Kudos for putting the time and money into your unique and beautiful car. I'm curious as to your plans for it. Will it be just a show car, a daily driver, or what? I'm kind of thinking it won't be a track car because there may be too much rear downforce compared to the front. Whatever you do with it, congratulations on a job well done.
