A VERY custom 996 GT2 "RSR"...
I was right behind your car yesterday evening at a stop light. My kids couldn't get over the look of the car and the sound. When the light turned green and you took off, I had no chance of keeping up (ok I was in an SUV but I don't think it would have made a difference in my stock turbo.)
The highlight for my kids was when you lifted and a bang with blue flames came out from under the car!
Why would you ever want to sell this?!

As for selling it, I am not trying very hard...just wanted to appease the wife because I also want one of the new Audi S8's when they arrive. I have a 2008 and love the car, but I really want the new twin turbo V8 that is coming out in 2012. She says that a new S8 and the Porsche will spoil me.
Ok guys
I return from a few months enjoying the car. Radical is an understatement, but it is time for a few more mods. Stay tuned for reports on the following mods:
1. New front fender and rocker panel design
2. New GTX30 turbos pushing more air at lower boost at less bar and exceeding 1000 rwhp, all on E85 fuel.
3. New RSR wing.
4. New paint scheme.
5. Install 27 Gallon Premier fuel cell with double dry brake filler
6. A few suspension tweaks for the track.
7. New prototype carbon clutch
8. New roof scoop design to flow more cooling to intercooler.
9. 305/30-19 front tires on 11" wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup N-spec tires.
I think it will take this summer to get it all done, but I will keep you up to date on progress. Also, for up to the minute updates, see the 911 Design Facebook page.

A new prototype triple carbon/carbon clutch for 1badgt2. i have been running the Titan Motorsports/Tilton carbon clutch for a year now. Performs well, but have had to replace the carbon disks twice. This new clutch manufactured by ERP is a 9" clutch AND is 6 lbs lighter than the other unit. I will let everyone know how it performs over the next few months.
Here are more progress photos of the current modifications to 1badgt2. We have installed a larger, more efficient dp motorsports carbon roof with integrated scoop and a dp lexan rear glass section with integrated scoop section. We will finish with a carbon fiber intercooler shroud that will match to the lexan scoop section. This unit is not shown.
Additionally, we have redesigned the rocker panel and front fender transition to be 1 inch wider at the front and l" off the front edge of the door allowing air to release from the inner fender well. A black screen will be installed inside the fender well to prevent rocks and gravel from damaging the door. We ahve modified the front bumper to match to the wider front fender section and we have eliminated two, admittedly probably useless, dive planes.
Rear of the car gets a new carbon fiber 997 GT3R wing from dp Motorsports also.

But I agree. If only the bank account would allow this type of madness.
