MASAHW References?

I am considering getting a GT2 front and rear kit from MASHAW, does anyone have any positive (or negative) experience with them?

thanks in advance

Mike a is great guy and has the best prices if you call him, tell him Pejman sent you, and in case you cant wait to know, rear wing is fairly well prepped and easy to get installed and painted but front bumper was 5 days at the shop before it was even ready to be painted ...I get my car back in two days...full photoshoot and specs coming on Sun or mon

I have sold and personally used many MAShaw parts on my Porsche cars. I had Mikes GT2 wing on my 996C2. I got a carbon hood and rear RSR wing for a customers 993. And we even did the full widebody kit on a customers BMW E36 M3. Great stuff. Like any parts, full prep, prime, then paint. And ALWAYS test fit before you do that.

Nice man. Who's doing your install? It seems like all front bumper conversions are a lot of work. Whether it's a techart, OEM GT2, or aftermarket. The rear decklid/wing is a no brainer.

Excellent, thanks guys!

I am loooking for a reputable local body shop to do the work. The left RAM went out on my wing, the cost to repair is close enough to the getting the GT2 version and save a few lbs as well, might as well get the GT2 front while I am at it.

Nice....never heard of them. You'll have to give me their info for future reference. BTW - any shop can match the porsche factory colors if you pull the color code from under the hood.

Are you painting the whole wing, or going with the carbon fiber blade? Any pics yet? Full GT2 is gonna look sweet.

Checked with them today and car will be ready by friday and you are wrong about matching paint using the code, using the code will not match the paint at all on Polar, the blue tint in the paint is a shade of green and you need a lot of play in the paint to get the right shade of blue that why some polar silvers are more bluish than others in certain light ( iam very picky)...I ll give you his card next time I see you, his work is second to none....I went with the carbon blade on the deckild...It will hopefully look HOT

well, maybe not from an independent shop. But at shops like First Choice or Wagonwerks in Alexandria (shops that do almost exclusively porsches) all they need is the year of the car and the paint code. I had my rear bumper resprayed after someone bumped into it, and they matched it perfectly. No one could ever tell it was repainted. Im getting my front redone right now because I backed into it.

Can't wait to see your results...

Mike Shaw is an enthusiast who is active with our Porsche club and a stand up businessman. I haven't bought anything from him but I know several people who have and respect dealing with him. He is trustworthy in my experience.

I talked to him about a front spoiler. He was honest about problems they had had over the years, the OEM source, etc. He was not giving me anything but real data. Just my 2c. Honest to me in my interaction.
