the way around the CEL is to run the 100 cell cat and a straight pipe. near same benefits and you could do on a stock car with no flash.

may first set up with a stock ECU and NO CEL's Fabspeed 100 cell cats, their straight pipe and your tips.

Yup, that is another way of getting around the light...

Also, for those interested, I have 2 sets of dump tubes left. I thought there was only one...

Is it ok to install with no tips? or will it damage the bumper? with no tips how far do they reach??? do they go all the way out of the bumper?

Really? I could swear Drew isnt using any tips with his.

But they are such and easy swap I'll be changing. I cant wait to wake the neighbors.

I dont use tips...and my bumper is fine...and I have DEFINITELY given the "hard" test of the pipes without tips...they are just fine and just look more raw anyway...

Our don't melt bumpers either.

We ran these on our 996TT at the track all of the time. Never an issue.

No melting issues. We even ran these on our old 996TT at the track many times. If you read sechsgang's posts also, you will see he uses his car for track work, still no issues.

They just barley stick out further then the outermost portion of the bumper.

When heavychevy get his, I am hoping he posts some pics so you can all see.
