What engine builder is closest to Toronto for my 3.8?
Hi guys
I have some big plans on the go and I want to know which builder/tuner is closest to Toronto Ontario Canada. The reason I want someone close is for after build service. My plans are a 3.8 kit , rods, heads and so on. Any advice from you big HP guys would be appreciated and I would really love to hear it. Yes I know the best advice is to stop now
...but I really would want to do this. I know its not a cheap build and thats not really a concern.I have looked local to me and I do have an appointment to sit down with someone, but lets be honest all of the big boys are coming out of state side. Please any thing you have to say I will consider..and markski I am not OK with it taking one year!

Here is I would do if I were you...
Do a simple Rod and head stud job... even thru companies not very popular with the tuning side of things...
that should take 2 weeks. keep it 3.6 L if your smart...
then buy the fuel system for 700 rwhp... 2 pumps in series vs. the parallel with huge lines.... ( $2500 vs $10K) put on some nice gt3076r with .82 A/Rs OR gt35Rs....
get Protomotive's tuning with MAf and the intake system.
call it a day..... trust me i know.
If not and you get sucked into the hoopla of things you will be still talking about your build same time next year.... and how close it is... LOL

Keep it simple unless you have the patience and budget to deal with this. 800+ HP cars are fragile and temperamental. There is so much you can do from your current stage 2 setup (assuming your sig is accurate) and still keep the car enjoyable.
