How Do We Beat The New Big Dogs? (zr-1, Acr, Gt2)
Ok...no joke, I CANT GET AN ACR...WHO CAN HELP ME??? One dealer was like they are out, another made up some BS that I had to be a customer already or whatnot...this is ridic...
SO SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK... But man, i remember my testdrive in an 07 coupe, the way the clutch flapped and had give, just felt like blah :/ Too bad because they are so damn capable in the right hands!
I'm fairly confident the entire drive train was completely redesigned for the 08. I hear it has a 2 disc clutch and the redesigned transmission makes for a nice shifting experience? i'm sure if you were inclined to, you'd get further detail by motor trending it or something. overall i'm very satisfied with many of todays over the top cars!

There was no MY '07 Viper
Not really following this thread and I do agree that Viper is bad a$$
but probably best way for "us" to be the big boys is to get Pro driver lessons that probably worth an extra 100hp!!

Oops I meant 06... Anyway it just felt sloppy and loose driving wise with the clutch, pedals and way too tight gearbox.. Iv'e been in an ACR on the track (GTS ACR 02) and know what it's capable of, I just hope it feels like a great drivers car and just solid in every way!
I felt the same way, I hated the 03-06 gen III's driving feel, felt big and clumsy, I drove on the same day as a C6 and a C5 coupe and it felt the worst by far. It was swaying back and forth in corners, tilting back and forth under acceleration and the pedals were in aweful spots.
I actually like the Gen II much better even.
