New Intake Plenum Pics Installed on 996TT

Hey guys I just wanted to share these IPD intake plenum pics. We recently installed one on a customers 996TT. I have not found anywhere pictures of this product installed on the car, so I hope these help out.

The intake plenum is designed to replace the factory "T" style plastic one. The aftermarket plenum basically helps improve the air flow by diverting the air in a "Y" formation. This helps decrease turbulence as the air is directed to each intake manifold. This product has been quoted as achieving big HP gains in the mid range RPM's. This part is the 70mm unit which fits to the factory throttle body.

Having one installed on my own 996TT, I can tell you that there is a difference in that mid range RPM. The torque curve on the dyno you can see shift over and not so initially peaking. There is also a bit of difference in the throttle response. Since we installed this on my car with a bunch of mods, we were not able to do a before and after dyno. At the end of the day this is a great efficiency part.

If you want to read more on the product, check out the Plenums we have here - http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/ipd-m-417.html

I have these instock at a REDUCED PRICE. PM me for details.

Is there a "how to" for a "motor in car" install? That would help drive sales for sure. ;-)

Its not that bad to install in the car, yes its a little frustrating but it helps if you have little hands.
