Ready for the weekend.
Ready for the weekend.
I just this week traded my SC'd 996 for a 996 Turbo.
Sad to see the 996 go, but I think it was good to go out on a high note with it.
The turbo is great fun. I guess I'll be frequenting this side of the forum much more from now on.
Anyway ...
A few years back, maybe 3 or 4, I noticed a picture of a 996 in a magazine that had a tow hitch installed, presumably for dragging track tires.
I was stunned. I just didn't think it was possible.
It turned out the car belonged to Todd (EVOMS). I ended up buying the "spare" one he had lying around. Sharkwerks figured out how to fit it, and in fact it turned out to be very easy to install / remove so I just keep it on when I'm heading to the lake for the weekend, otherwise it's off.
I know it's not going to be everyones cup of tea here. Some/most/all? will probably not like the idea much (I don't know how many times I've been told to get a truck), but for me combining a turbo car with a turbo jetski for the weekend is just too much fun to resist.
Plus, the Ferrari doesn't have any visible means to pull it.
