UMW tune

Kevin is the king of customer service.

He met me at a place near my house and uploaded the file and the next day met me again to deliver the flash.
Wow, so much torque and HP, I didn't know what I was missing! So much torque and HP that my clutch gave out in 15 minutes! Called Kevin and he set me up with the LWFW set up. I called the shop to set up the install and was told he was 10 to 14 days out. Called Kevin to drop the LWFW at another shop, but instead Kevin called the shop and got me in the next day.

Granted, I live in the Seattle area, so it's easier to hook up with Kevin; but his actions show how much he cares about his customers. When you call his number, he's the one who picks up. Pretty rare to find nowadays.

Anyone thinking of a flash, should at least give Kevin a call.

Doc, my crystal ball is telling me new exhausts and bigger turbos are coming your way real soon.

Vince,

Added the EP loud last year, but I think I'll have to hold on the turbos.

Man after driving the flashed car, I can just imagine what your GT2 was like. That car must have been a monster at the track.

Yeah it too had UMW program for the K24 turbos plus his waste gates. Crazy fast, I only ran the GT2 up to 0.7 bar at the track and still easily got her up to 160mph into the kink.

Kevin has been impeccable in his integrity and work ethic.

His product is unbelievable too(just ask Jean) and led my car to a 8.40 with STOCK K16's. This speed is faster than the RUF 520 with a similar MTOW . In a perfect world I'd have his 2C package and exhaust.

Ultimate Motor Werks FTW!!!!

I blew my clutch in 2 days. I used to think it was the PO. All the other guys (other tunes) said it was the PO in PM's....probably the ECU code. It is not all about HP. It is the "area under the curve" and torque.

That is how I think about things. AUC is a medical way of thinking....one could call it integral power.....take the HP across the full RPM range and torque...as some sort of surface area. It would be interesting to plot that out for all the tunes....

Anyway, same thing happened to me. I got the LWFW package. No issues ever since.

Yes ask me..

UMW's ethics are up there, that's not the issue, it is customers like you whose ethics are debatable. You forgot again to mention the weight of your car next to the 8.40? And keep my name off your posts little boy until you grow up a little will ya?

I appreciate what any vendor does to stant behind their product. That said, I can tell you that Kevin's the real deal. His product is just THAT GOOD...

Any 60-130 numbers for Kevin's stuff besides the above with stock 16's? What about all his "magical widgets?" I am curious how they stack up against others in real world numbers. Surely some of the numbers in Scott's sticky are umw cars, I just don't know who they are. [would be nice if that sticky listed the tuner!!!]

I am just a simpleton and all that "power under the curve" and "integral power" stuff makes my brain swell, and we all know edema is bad. Increased ICP and all that bad stuff....... 60-130 though...that I can understand!

Jean is an angry, arrogant skeptic that swings on the nuts of everything Protomotive and **** talks everything else. I made a simple, lighthearted joke referencing his skepticism towards a 60-130 time I made three or four months ago, and he replies with an insult.
