Top Gear Tests the Nissan GTR - Stigs time...
Stuck scheibe,CANCER IS NOT A ****ING JOKE,verfluchtes arschloch.
Shut the **** Up AND GROW UP.
Hahaha in that very long straight? It's not like the ZR1 started from standstill.
From the review below it seems that Nissan's handling, braking, accel prowess isnt living up to the hype. This Nissan has scored the worst results in all categories bar one. You cant blame the driver either since they used one of the best drivers ever to set foot in a car.

dakine, You are an excellent example of WHY we skeptics are so negative. The whole argument you just made goes to show what's wrong with GT-R fans... Just like a friggin' political activist. When the numbers work out to your advantage, you're posting it up everywhere... When they don't, you throw out statements like that... Bottom line is all these numbers don't add up and we'll see more and more of these stock OEM owners disappointed with what Nissan sold them... A great car that was hyped beyond reality...
But hey, thanks for playing!

I can't believe this thread is still going.
It's official for me: I am selling my premium silver GT-R.
It's the real deal, but if someone wants to pay me a premium, I will let them have it.

I know one thing, the people that opt to get the street alignment so they can get more than the 5k miles Nissan says the car will get on tires. The cars will definitely be slower.
Add to that performance being a tuning and tunability sector and the GT-R not being mod friendly with all the computers and breaking trannys and weak clutches, having only the dealer able to change tires, 7k brake jobs, frequent inspections and suddenly this car seems far too high maintenance to track.
Nissan built a one hit (lap) magazine wonder, but owners will be too busy at the dealer fixing this and inspecting that to enjoy it, and you'll spend a fortune trying to track it, and woe are you if you void the warranty and have to pay the frequent inspections ($2k) out of pocket, you cant even change pads or rotors only, it's 7k every time. A set of pads may last two events at the most, and they surely wont last that long if you're going faster than a CGT in a 3900 lb car. Now how affordable is that? BWAHAHAHAHAAH
In all honesty, who wants a car like that? As soon as you get to the track, not only will the inflated mag results put you in a bad situation to begin with, you cant mod because the you'll have to convert back to stock everytime you go for an inspection (which is what I'm assuming they implemented the inspection for). And if you dare say screw the warranty, you risk the 18k tranny broken job or replacing a dual clutch of which there are no aftermarket solutions for.
Sorry, but all the hype has the fanboys blind to what they are getting themselves into. That doesnt sound the least bit interesting to me. And I still bet I would walk all over one in a stock GT3.

with a 1/4 miles of 12.6 seconds
way slower and more logical if you look at the power to weight ratio.
which only means one thing. a modded 996tt costing as much as the GTR will.........

maybe you should do the same
who the hell are you to tell someone what they can or can't say? I am sure Mike wasn't making any jokes about cancer, more so about the rediculousness of the gtr fanboyclub. But I guess it skyrocketed right over your head.
