Suncoast GT2 replica parts
Suncoast GT2 replica parts
Does anyone know anything about the replica front bumper and rear decklid/wing that suncoast is selling? The thing that caught my attention is that it is urethane. It seems a good bit more expensive than Mashaw, etc. so just wanted feedback. Also, are the gt2 replica bumpers experiencing any problems with cooling/aero on the track. Thanks!
The urethane parts are factory Porsche. The rest are in many cases not good for street duty. Have a tendency to shatter. Yes you need the hardware for the radiators and etc. or you have less cooling than stock. The GT2 front creates TONS more downforce which requires the BIG WING for the rear or you risk the very real possibility of exitting corners tail first, rear end gets VERY light @ 125mph+ without the etra downforce on the rear to balance the front.

suncoast
call suncoast of florida. they'll give you the WHOLE list of parts and they're about 50% cheaper than a regular dealership.

id do the front properly with the stock GT2 bumper. if you just get an aftermarket gt2 bumper, even one that was made great... it wont look that great since the rubber ducts dont line up well at all. in turn looking really cheap. IF you do the conversion correctly, once you relocate the radiator, coupled with the gt2 ducts and a few other pieces, you get teh aero affects of the gt2 front, which route the air upwards to the hood grill. i did aftermarket front and althogh it looks good now, after a few modifications, if i had to do it again id do it right.
As per the rear, it think the cost of the rear replica is maybe 1/4 of the oem.. so that might be worth it. I dont see any adverse affect of having the rear replica, as long as its made really well, with the adjustable wing..etc...
