Big THANKS to Heavychevy

I wanted to let everyone know how this community is full of great people.

Dez (heavychevy) helped me and my shop out with my Misha GT2 wing install. He went WAY above and beyond.

None of us realized that the wing was really adjustable (the shop or myself). And since there were no install instructions available from Misha we made a mistake. We smoothed in a critical piece to reaching the adjustment bolts. We did not realize it was slightly (but enough) loose until it was painted and on the car. By then a lot of work would have had to be undone to get to the bolts to tighten it.

Dez took his apart and took detailed pictures to show the shop where things were located. They were able to drill only one hole to reach what they needed to reach based on his help.

Needless to say saving a ton of time and effort.

So to you Dez THANKS A TON!

I love reading Heavychevy's comments regarding the hype surrounding the Nissan GTR. He provides a reality check when the hype has gotten out of hand!

LOL, too late. Head already big.

Tim, glad I could help and you got the wing sorted out. I'd really like to see pics of how you did it because putting bondo on the seems sounds like a great idea.

They drilled a 3/4 inch hole in the outside and got a wrench in there.

Yeah it is nice with the seams all filled and looking slick.

Well that's just the class that group down near Atlanta is... Alex, Mike and Dez are all first rate in my book... Dez has constantly covered my six on other boards in dealing with internet crap.
