funny transmission issue...

guys
something wierd happened to my car today

i noticed when i put the car in first, a few times, the shifter pops back into neutral

2nd 4th and 6th gears feel funny aswell
when my hand is on the shifter and i get on and off the gas, i feel a little bit of play in the shifter .

i have a b&m short shifter, and this just happened today

if i had to guess, i would assume the shifter somehow is not "aligned"
i was thinking maybe the tranny mounts broke, but i dont feel the back and forth action in 1st 3rd and 5th, however, like i said, from a complete stop, the shifter would occasionally pop out of first, unless i pushed it with force..

any ideas?

When you put it back in gear, does it have to be forced or does it go in normally?

Steve, you might want to check and make sure the cables haven't walked around in the clips at the shifter. I hate my B&M shifter and will be replacing it once the rest of the suspension mods are done... I'm going to go with the cupcar shifter and cables...

You probably have a bad 2nd Syncros. I did when I had a B&M...

Resting your hand on shifter? Really?

Now are you talking about with the B&M or just in general?

based on your videos, my guess it is due to your driving and nothing to do with the B&M SSK.
