What is it you like best about your car... and the worst?

 

I really like the low to mid end power. High end sucks.
I also don't like the transmission in these cars.

i hate hate hate the gearing

i cant imagine why porsche would put such short gearing on a turbo charged car..

 

Can't give just one love (looks/power/handling/history...), but agree with Steve...the gearing s*ks.

 

+10 on first gear especially. Its worthless

 

I love the the engineering & quality of build / Hate that I don't drive it more!

90 in 2nd
135 in 3rd
165 in 4th
190 in 5th
210 in 6th

 

IMO the weight is an issue if you track the car and chase times - or cupcars. The day in day out pleasure the car gives and the people I have met with a similar addiction are positives.

 

I agree with this. the car is all good to me in everyway except weight.

and I am at 3250 pounds and it still toooo heavy.

 

Zero, Nada, Nuffing, she is just about perfect now, mind you I am working on getting some more power while she is at EVOMS....saying hello to some GT3071R's haha

Oh and to those complaining about the gearing, btw that was me when I first got my car, just get your wallets out and change the gearing

 

having spent most of the day in mine, or around it at a car show, I can say that NOTHING is wrong with my specific car... Other than the LOUD exhaust, and my exhaust isn't "loud" like most.

My car accelerates wonderfully, and I have no complaints with the gearing. I do have complaints with the B&M shifter the previous owner put in mine, and I would like to have the GT2 Clutch Hydraulics, and a tranny cooler, but otherwise, My car is such a beast that it doesn't require much of anything else...

No it's not a GT 3. If I had wanted one I would have bought one.

Everything is perfect so far but I have to admit I realized this long time dream only seven months ago. So this car is new to me. But when I press the garage door opener and while the door slowly and quietly lets appear the most beautiful rear end you can imagine I simply..... Sorry my english is not good enough to continue to explain my feeling but you know what I mean....

 

Love the ability to modify into the stratospheres
Hate how much it costs to modify into the stratospheres!

PS: Hate how dated the interior is starting to look compared to the 997TT.

 

The stupid 2nd gear popout that has come back after supposedly being fixed by a reputable shop less than 2 years ago and less than 10k miles ago.... lame.

Otherwise, it is a great reliable car that I really enjoy as my daily driver.
