Pentosin Leak

I had pentosin leaking from the filler cap under the hood and a stiff pedal if the car sat a couple of days. I was pretty sure it was the clutch accumulator after searching this forum so I had the accumulator changed a month ago and all was good... until this morning. I now have another pentosin leak from the same place. The clutch pedal feels fine. Ever heard of an accumulator going bad after only a month? Any other ideas?

Your reservoir in the rear has probably been over-filled. Chris (Sean996) had this same issue and spilled pentosin out of the cap on the front reservior. check the rear level per the instructions in the owner's manual. Start the car (cold) and let it idle for 25 seconds and then cut it off and check the level in at the rear reservoir dipstick and make sure it is in the proper COLD level on the dipstick.

Tboy911 is infamous around these parts
I went through the same problem. I would fill the ps res in the back and it would slowly be pumped to the front clutch resoviour and overflow into the firewall

It ended up being the clutch operating cylinder ( slave cylinder)
$350-$450 part and 5-6 hours labor.

I changed the accumulator first and it didn't help.

Checked the rear resevoir this morning and it was fine. If anything it was on the low side of the "band" on the dip stick.

Nailed it on this one. There is a check valve in the slave that fails (non-serviceable), and it allows pentosin to flow from the rear reservoir to the front. Also, this is nasty stuff. Rinse off everything it comes in contact with. I have seen it melt rubber and warp plastic.
