hey guys
major problems getting the car to hook up tons of wheel spin and i'm AWD...coming out of second it goes completely sideways
7.4 sec 60-130 with todds base tune

doing some tuning this afternoon i may turn down the boost and see what it will do

If you can hook up, in cool weather you should be below 6.5 easily. I recommend switching to an R compound tire.

 

There's something wrong with your PSM Hope you can hook!

 

you need MT drag radials or BF goodrich in the back otherwise you will be dissapointed...
it is too cold in the midwest right now to hook up at... Also, you will need those ICs cause stock just will not do...
I have seen 5s in Bobby's old car... but it was well set up ...

 

What happens if you start in third or even fourth gear?

 

I have some Toyo RA-1's you can try out if you want.
My PS2's have been in the attic since the 993 came back from Arkansas- nowhere near enough grip.

 

How would you compare your new k24/20g to your previous setup's power, spool and top end? Is it even more brutal than the 18g?

 

I am doing a simular set up staying all wheel and just ordered an lsd hope that helps.

 

a good set of tires and some heat.. i did some data logging this afternoon its a wild ride the boost comes on so smooth(no lag) and pulls all the way to 7k i glanced at the bc on the top end and i was still pushing 1.38 bar at redline the 18g's just wouldnt do that

let me put it this way if you could come up here and drive this thing.. you would order them tomorrow!end of story! the boost is very smooth comes on early and holds all the way to redline...

no dissapointment.. and yeah your right im a mod addict!! i did get a couple of real nice pulls today doing some data logging.. the v-box showed 622 AWHP thats up from 556 AWHP with the 18gs.. remember this is on a base tune with wheel spin so the # should go up from here
