is this anyone in here
Hopefully this isn't anyone here, and I know I should just keep my mouth shut but I can't help it
The GT3 driver is clearly a better driver. The inside pass TT makes on the Orange 997GT3RS was ridiculous. The GT3 pulls on this guy coming out of the corners at what appears to be a similar exit speed. He seems to be in the wrong gears on exit, often. I did notice it appears the car is at a minimum chipped as he took it to 7000RPM. He should be pulling on the GT3; atleast a little bit.

about the only time the gt3 would pull on the TT is on the entry, out of the turns and on the straights the TT was clearly much much faster, that much is evident, but I agree that the TT line seemed way off. The GT3 had a better driver

I have lost my freaking mind. Last night I watched the video, and it was late. I wonder why I thought the camera was in the TT?
. I even remember thinking the guy has his TT tricked out, with the GT3 seats and all. I guess the tach I saw must of been hitting 8000.

Well anyone who tracks will tell you that a well sorted GT3 in the hands of a good driver will beat a modified TT in the hands of a beginner/ intermediate any day of the week. Power means nothing. Using that power and having it balanced within the parameters of the chassis/ brakes is a whole 'nuther story. Porsche really screwed us TT guys. Not having the suspension adjustments and subframe geometry of the GT2/3 really does hinder the car... Prepare to open your wallet!

how about equal drivers in that same modded TT versus the GT3. In this video the TT driver is obviously no where near that good, horrible line, but he holds off the GT3 with brute power.
That's a nice video. The TT is overbraking and taking very late apexes - that's why he's slower. Seems to me the main reason that he stays ahead is that this is a DE, and he doesn't let the GT3 by when he should.
At my last DE, I drove a friend's GT3 (my first time in a GT3). Those cars are SO much easier to drive than ours. Mike's right - you have to put your $$ into GT3 suspension upgrades.

Same driver in both cars the GT3 will win on most tracks... the GT3 is lighter more nimble, can carry more speed, brake later etc etc. The GT3 revs more freely than the Turbo... I feel I have to find the sweet spot when exiting corners with the Turbo as you want to get good smooth power delivery but if you over do it your off!
makes sense.
the reason I wonder is because I remember mikelly's video of him chasing what appeared to be a gt3 cup car, and that cup car could not pull on him. I know the mikes TT has a well modded suspension and the power is definitely there, however, that is a lightweight cup car and even with all the traffic could not get away.

Mike have you run into other gt3's at vir? and how did they do?
