You can put some washers on the threaded insert to space the wing higher and/or heat the wing at the center with an industrial heat gun (don't ment it), then lower it when hot with a folded rag under it, to form it higher in the middle. Both methods work.

And i dont want to use any washers on my car... i want something that looks good.. It is not a KIA
Personally, I would stick with the spacers b/c it's easier and no chance of messing up.
