all those DV's ..forge , evo , bailyes , etc , when not vented to atmosphere make the same noise , you will not get that overly loud whoosh you get witha blow through system ...

smooth_operator is infamous around these parts
you will get better turbo response over stock, no noise difference.

Really? Always heard that changing DVs was prophylactic, that the stocks will fail so might as well replace them sooner rather than later...

put em in

just went for a test drive, the car runs great but no woosh.... still can't figure out where it went it was there until i put evo piping in and now the car runs faster but no woosh

Maybe you hose was loose or disconnected and you were hearing a woosh...when you replaced the hose you fixed it?

wow your still having issues with this ... here is a solution call todd at protomotive and order his air system and be sure to get the piping so it fits the tial blow off valves.. im sure u wont miss the woosh then!! or get awe straight pipes and you wont have to worry about hereing anything at all

prophylactic
a device, usually a rubber sheath, used to prevent conception or venereal infection; condom.

the stock units are a diaphram design, the aftermarket are a piston design. if you are stock, stock is fine. any upgrades you need to replace them.
