Need some PSS9 settings questions answered please.

I just ordered a set of pss9's and need to get some feedback from you experienced guys.

1) How much did you lower your car front and rear?
2) What settings to you run your shocks?
3) Do any of you change the settings for track days vs. street?
4) How easy is it to access the shocks for changing the settings?

Help me out here, I need some guidance.

TIA,

Bart

lowered my car about an inch front and rear. I run the car on the street and track an the third setting from stiffest setting - nice road feel and feels decent.

it's relatively easy to get to front and rears to change settings

1.125-1.25 in front and 1 in the rear is my fav. Setting depend on what you like but if you dont go 1 or 2 then stagger such as 4 in rear and 6 in front. Rear to be stiffer

Bilstein's recommended max lowering with PSS9's is as follows:
Front- 35mm/1.3780 inches
Rear- 25mm/0.98425 inches

Hope this helps.

Without bose it's easy to adjust just pull the 2 lb carpt that is behind the seats and there they are. Front you got to lay down

With the Bose it's a tiny bit more involved but not much. It only takes about 30 seconds to remove the Bose box. I just did it today as I prepare to install my new custom JL Audio box.

So wait, how much labor is involved in changing setting if you have PCM II, and can you get PSS9s with a cabriolet?

(sorry to hi-jack but i see no point in creating another thread for the same topic)

The cab is a bit harder but not impossible. You can always go with Motons and put the res in the car. That would be the most ideal, and get rid of the Pss9 bumper steer

No need to go to Motons if you dont track the car. The JICs are a good alternative.
