Thanks. I have a number of years (going on two decades actually) of experience with suspensions. I also used to custom fabricate and sell a product line of suspension parts for another marque for about 4 years.

Sounds like your suspension set-up (pretty much the same as mine) is too stiff for the roads you drive. My car definitely does not like undulating pavement with ridges and dips in them...PSM kicks in, car is not planted, etc. However, on the track, it does pretty well which is where it spends most of the time anyway.

KW Club Sport coil overs vs V3

Anyone here have any experience with the KW Club Sport coil overs?

I was wondering if they are any harsher on the road compared to the KW V3?

My suspension shop have recommended these above the V3 because, apparently if you go with CS, you do not have to upgrade the stock sway bars and the CS already come with camber plates. (He recomemnded GT3 camber plates with the V3).

Sounds like a more cost effective solution for mostly road use with occ track.

Interested in your feedback.

I don't know why you'd want to keep the stock swaybars and endlinks... in my opinion, they're very minimal, extremely limited in use and the endlinks are downright dangerous when they break (and they will).

Thanks Mike.

I think the KW CS come with new end links, but I could be wrong...I'll check.

As far as the sways, I always planned to go with the GT3 rear sway, but the suspension guy who has set up quite a lot of Porsches for road and track said for my use, it's not necessary with the CS becasue the rear springs are much stiffer.

I plan to track the car only a few times a year at most.

Happy to listen to the experience of others.

Are you planing to run a front bar?

The springs do one thing very well... They also do a couple of things that swaybars help counter-act, and a lot of that helping to counter-act are the cycles of wound compression/ cyclic harmonics that can cause more harm than good.

Regardless the spring rate, I'd want sufficient adjustment in a sway bar to be able to combate the cyclic harmonics both front and rear. That's just me.

That's way more technical than I've considered, so I'll put it to my suspension technician.

I was initially going with the FVD Sport PSS9's, links and rear sway.
I know quite a few people here don't run front sways with PSS9 / PSS10.

However, I've only just started seriously looking at the KW's, so unsure of the best setup for my use. If I need front and rear sways, are the HR's the best to go with?

Edit the title and add 60-130 or Texas Mile and maybe that will work?
