Ultimate MotorWerks Stock K16 does 480 RWHP
#92
So you are slightly lighter than a stock Z06 and also 40 hp more. That is right on with your 60-130 times. Z06 does it in low 8 seconds, your HP and weight advantage beats it. awesome. cant imagine what your car would do with k24/18g's...

Those kind of demands are fine when someone is selling something, but not when someone is posting his accomplishments with his own car.
I believe on Rennlist, you told me to get off my high horse. You may want to take some of your own advice.

although there are many in here who are quick to lambaste anyone that isn't running proto setup, Seal Gray isn't one of those. he's been nothing but positive here.

Yes, but the difference between you and I is that with every one of his accomplishments (feel free to use the search function) I was among the first to congratulate Ryan and take him as a man at his word. Not once did I claim that he owed me any further proof or demand that he run some other test to sate my curiosity. I knew that he would get around to posting more data in his own time.

All that said- you do seem now to embrace the concept of some scrutiny and accept questions without taking exception.

In general -
I think that cars with similar packages, even with different tuners, dyno about the same on like dynos. The big differences come with boost. How high are you willing to go with your boost for a dyno number. Those that are willing to crank it up, achieve the best numbers.
As far as 1/4 mile, 60-130, etc. - These numbers also seem to fall within a small range for similarly equipped cars. Just about every "fast" time for a given package has other contributing factors such as higher than normal boost, straight pipes, no exhaust, no cats, seats out, bumpers off, front diff removed, stripped interior, etc. - when you lighten the car, it goes faster.
TX has done a good job at lightening his car and it shows in his numbers - 307 lbs. is almost a 10% weight reduction - that is going to have a measurable affect on the performance.

What dyno numbers are you suspect of Marty?
My car is very light? I have what, my seats out, my sub out, my tire, my front shaft, straight pipes? And a few things here or there? Guess what? If you have your seats in the car and your spare tire in the car, you're a fool. And that's why the majority of the cars out there have removed said items. Therefore, I don't see how I am more than a 100 pounds lighter than anyone else. Which is equivalent to 15 ponies. In other words, jack ****.
I swear, people like you really make me wish I would have just gone Protomotive. That way I wouldn't have to deal with the drama that gets dished out. But then again, I wouldn't be the fastest.
Here are some other 60-130 numbers:
9.22 AWD and full weight
8.40 RWD
7.92 RWD 3188
7.52 RWD 3188 and thrown out due to errors

Now you are giving more info.
Your car goes well. Be happy.
Some of the big Proto cars are owned by ***** who do not verify
anything...

I have to get in touch with Kevin to let him have another go at my tune. I'm stock with headers and a 91 California flash. Boost comes on early then fades from 2000-2200 rpm, blah, blah. How many iterations do you folks go though to get it right?
Cheers,
Cheers,

I dont know how much HP my car got. Never been on a dyno.
My 100-200 km/h time is 7,6 messured with a PBox and DB-Scanned.
Not all mods were onboard u see below im my sig.
Just tune, intercoolers and exhaust.
I bet i will get lower now, cause my car lost lots of wheight, about 40kg. The new OZs are not included!
Pure mass of the wheels is about 8kg, so 48kg wheight loss in total. But the wheels are rotating masses, 2,5kg per wheel in the back 1,5 kg in the front to the stock turbo wheels. The effective wheight gain from the wheels must be around 24 kg. So the car feels 64kg lighter.
My guess the time should drop to 7,2-7,3 sec. with stock k16`s.
