Ultimate MotorWerks Stock K16 does 480 RWHP
Ultimate MotorWerks Stock K16 does 480 RWHP
This was on a DynoJet and was with pump gas. Kevin will be tweaking my tune soon in hopes of getting above 500RWHP. I will also be adding a 5bar.
Would you guys raise the rev limiter from 7000 to 7200?
This UMW tune has been great. I sure wish there were more UMW dyno numbers, 60-130 numbers and 1/4 mile times posted on the forums. 7.92 is my best 60-130 in the configuration the dyno was made with.
BTW with the smoothing at 0 the best run was 480. At a correction level of 5 it was 478.
Additionally, the ECU was showing just under 1 Bar or just on 2000hPa during all runs.

Congrats Ryan your car sets the bar really high for all the other stock turbo guys.
The only thing I'd be concerned about is that half a point of leanness, but I'm sure your tuner knows what the car is really doing through the data log.

well if anyone can do it Kevin can. I think 480 whp on totally stock K16's is excellent, congrats. Anyone having a stock TT and not wanting to do lots of work can do the same.. amazing. Did you disconnect the front axle?
my rev lim is set at 7k as well, but I am going to leave it there.

^Thank you! The car has been converted to RWD.
Zac, thanks bud. I too was concerned about the AFR's. I was assured by Sam Shalala that that isn't too lean. Kevin and I have decided to go with a 5bar FPR because we plan on adding more hp and want to play it safe. See you this weekend.

ok, no wonder you asked me about my tune and if I dynoed yet. You wanna see what kind of improvement there is going to my setup?. tell you what, if I can, this summer I will have my front axle disconnected and try to get a dyno to give you an idea as to improvements.
Do you mean 399? If so that is a huge difference.

no he did mean 499. I think he just expects to have much more than K16's than just 20 whp. Although I think 500whp is respectable for stock K24's on stock fueling

Yes. According to the ECU, it was at or just under 2000 hPa with 1 bar being 2026.
