Which is what I am doing. just wondering what your opinions are on the two cars side by side. Yes, this will be the experience for me. I love my M3. I feel guilty that I even want to get rid of it. I don't see any reason why I should want to keep it after I pickup the TT though. I thought I would keep it forever, sigh. Anyone have similar thoughts?

We have an E36, and I gotta tell ya, even though I own that and the 996TT, I'd absolutely LOVE to have and E36 track car. Light weight, nimble, and very good learner...

Bluecuda is infamous around these parts
I had 2 E36 M3's over the years. Llike Mike said, they're very light and nimble, love the way they handled, but the power of the 996TT overwhelms the M3. In hindsight I wish I still had my M3 to drag around the kids and all their garbage!!!

I've had an e36, and e46 M3. The only thing you'll miss is the **** on BF.com. Haha! Get the car.

Thats good to hear, kinda what I expected too. Unfortunately I cant justify keeping it as it is already a second vehicle, it would get zero attention from me. Glad to hear as far as driving experiences go, it wont be missed.

to bad, a friend of mine had an 02 M3 and I absolutely loved it more than he did. He sold it to keep his two supras and I thought that was a monster mistake. If I didn't have so many cars, I would definitely look into buying yours

Sold the M to keep TWO Supras? That blows my mind. But, to each his own. Here is what I'm giving up.

Yes I know its yellow, I am a fan of the color though: )

nice, the way the market is today, you will not be happy with what you get for it. You can justify keeping it by saying that you will sell it when the economy improves a bit

That actually is a consideration I am taking. It will go in storage if that is the case though.

I had a e36 M3 (sedan) and a e46 M3 before getting into my TT.... I prolly woulda liked the e36 more had it been a coupe and 5speed, but I really liked the overall feel of the e46 M3. I almost kept and it went with a HPF turbo kit, but in the end decided Porsche. No regrets. And for me all of these cars have been daily drivers.
