Another PSM ABS -- Code P0102 Problem
I am pulling my hair hour on this one
I got the MAF replaced by the dealer 2 weeks ago. Now MAF comes up; replaced it this morning and PSM ABS goes off again
Pulling a P0102 code -- which, according to my searches, is a blown MAF
Is there any other reason why it would pull this code
would the MAF pull this code if it is installed incorrectly
Thanks in advance for your help

Are you running an aftermarket cool air intake or aftermarket air filter??? If you are, I would STRONGLY recommend you go back to your factory intake with the factory air filter you probably still have in the garage. Up to 600 HP...the factory intake is more than adequate.
If you're still running your stock filter...I wasted some breath and keystrokes.

.....(choke..) just ran out of breath..should have read the previous thread that asked you the same question about your CAI. you can install a MaF backwards, and I dont' want to insult your intelligence but you said you had reinstalled it after the dealer had installed it....probably not the cause, but what the hell...look at it anyway....I'd say it's the MAF again....everything seems to point that way. I don't believe in coincidence....if you go back to the last thing you or someone else did, that's the logical starting point and more often than not, that's the point of origin.

Chuck is gotta point here....I blew 7 MAF's with the cold air intake system and went back to OEM Box and no problems....BTW, when you disconnected the MAF sensor and started the car, did you drive it a little bit, take it up to 4000rpm or so and see if still doing that. Chuck maybe right on here with the suggestions.. GL

Update
Okay gents. (I wanted to give this running account to help others who my have the same problem; I noticed in searching older threads that no one updated their posts when a problem was solved.)
I disconnected the battery, cleared the P0102 code and THE ENGINE SHUTS DOWN.
On my way to the dealer this morning, the CEL appears and stalls. I am in the middle of Crenshaw, one of the busiest streets in my City at that time in the morning. I crank it up; it stalls 3 to 4 times; and we can only limp to the dealer at no more than 40 mph.
I just got a call. Dealer claims it is the throttle body. I ask why the problem was not detected when I brought it for the major service, when they replaced the MAF. She said it was because of a false code. WTF. She said the good news is that the throttle body is covered by my warranty.
I hope all of the gremlins are gone. the car will be ready tomorrow.
