I heard that RobMD did "close to 230 last year" in the mile . . . Congrats Rob!!!

I do not stand a chance!
You want to race my Minivan? I have no car worthy of lining up against your beast.
Scott,
Call all your buddies from your day job and tell them you will be doing some training w/ live targets for the next action off the coast of Somalia.
Then call Craig and ask him if he wants to go water skiing

During the mile event (where the 4.81 was recorded), Joe's car was set up for a high speed run, including tires that plainly compromised his 60-130 time (stable tires with less traction). Joe was spinning his tires during the mile run well beyond 60 mph. With stickier tires (e.g., the DRs you used during your epic 60-130 runs), and better traction, Joe will run a much faster 60-130 time. Moreover, a fast 60-130 time requires specific, optimized shifting that is different from a mile run. A 60-130 run requires a specific lead in, at an optomized speed and RPM which cannot be replicated in an all-out mile run. There is little doubt that Joe will run considerably faster than 4.81 when he specifically attempts a 60-130 run, with the right tires, optimized lead in, optimized rpms and optimized shifting. Likewise, I have no doubt that Joe will attempt a 60-130 run shortly and immediately post his results.
This has turned into an interesting thread, needless to say I will post some 60 to 130 times. I will try to get some current times for you guys in July at the 60 to 130 meet. The only item which will prevent this from happening is my state of my car. As some of you guys might know I had an accident a day before the Supra Nats, this accident damaged my exhaust, my wheel and actually broke my transmission. The tranny is at G box and I am hoping that it can be fixed soon. Thus, if the transmission is back, the car is running as normal then I invite anyone to come to the event.
Thanks
Robert

That would be a Yes. According to Rob's claims and cars that he has
decimated in the Houston area, he should be beating all but 1 or 2 on the
60-130 list. He needs to be well below 5.0
Rob,
Your car is strong and I wish you well, but I am afraid you have dug your
own hole on this one. Time to Walk the Walk, Hell you live in Houston,
the 60-130 cap of the world.

60-130 in July? What? Where?
